Jennifer Innis has extensive experience as an investigator, facilitator, adult educator, and advisor. She is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University with a M.Ad.Ed, which focused on program evaluation from a participatory research and narrative perspective. Jennifer also is a Certified Fraud Examiner and member of the Association of Fraud Examiners. Jennifer brings a principle-based approach to her work, maintaining a high level of integrity, accountability, and sensitivity. Jennifer has conducted interviews with varied populations, ranging from marginalized individuals to senior levels of government, for over 19 years. Prior to this, Jennifer has been responsible for assessing client eligibility requirements for the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services financial assistance program, through a lens to review situations of potential fraud. Jennifer is knowledgeable in the area of occupational health and safety, and is a certified Prepare trainer through the Crisis Prevention Institute. She has co-chaired and participated in various provincial committees related to occupational health and safety, violence in the workplace, and safe work practices.
